Barbara Hove has been providing counseling and consultation services
in the fields of employee assistance program (EAP) and mental health
field for over twenty-five years. As a Licensed Independent Clinical
Social Worker (LICSW) and Certified Employee Assistance Program
Professional (CEAP), she worked in both public and private sectors.
Her experience includes the University of Minnesota Hospitals and
Clinics where she directed the University of Minnesota EAP and
provided clinical services to individuals and families in Pediatric
Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Liver
Transplantation from 1981-1988.
In 1988, Ms. Hove joined the professional staff at Process Dynamics,
Ltd., Edina, MN and provided EAP services to companies and
corporation in the Minneapolis - St. Paul metro area, nationally and
internationally. During this time she established and directed the
Resident Assistant Program (RAP), providing counseling services to
medical residents and their family members completing residencies in
the metro-area hospitals and clinics.
Barbara Hove & Associates was established in 2000 as a private
practice providing counseling and consultation to individuals,
couples, and families. Assistance program referrals accepted.
